Kick It 3v3 Covid-19 Action Plan (on-site at events)
Limit event to 1 spectator per player (max of 6 per team) and 1 coach per team
Limit event to a maximum of 50 teams total, to control numbers further. KI keeps a log of registered players, referees, and staff for each event, and will make it available to PDPHE upon request to assist with contact tracing and investigation.
Control entry and exit of teams by staggering starting and ending times for each game and only allowing teams into field area 10 min prior to game start time
Only allow 3-5 fields playing at one time, instead of all fields. We will create a distance of 20-30 yards between fields and use every other 3v3 field.
No tents, canopies or lingering around after game. Each team/person must leave fields immediately
Increase Kick It staff to monitor and control the above action items
Hand sanitizer available at KI HQ tent and various areas around fields
Social Distancing marks used for team check-in at KI HQ, and around Scoreboard
KI will refrain from using our traditional inflatable soccer activities for kids
Limiting the interaction around the KI HQ, as well as around our sampling tent, and during awards ceremony
Increase our staff visibility on and around the fields to assure spectators are adhering to social distancing
Discouraging handshakes between teams, players, coaches, refs
Encouraging teams and their parents to be on 1 side of the field, and the opposing team and their parents on the opposite side - no mixing of teams/parents.
Each player will need to bring their own water bottle or drinks. No shared team water coolers or water bottles.
In between games, teams are encouraged to space themselves throughout the park and not congregate in groups around the fields or the tournament headquarters area.
Face coverings should be worn by coaches, players, referees and spectators during the event. Players and referees may remove their face coverings when on the field and during game time. Players and coaches on the sidelines should wear face coverings.
Thank you for your attention to these details.
