Douglas County COVID-19 guidelines - HERE

Kick It 3v3 Covid-19 Action Plan(on-site at events):

  • Hand sanitizer available at KI HQ tent and various areas around fields.

  • Social Distancing marks used for team check-in at KI HQ, and around Scoreboards.

  • Masks for KI Staff members and refs are available for use as needed, but not required. Masks are not required for players or spectators, unless otherwise required by local health officials or personal preference. We encourage, but do not require, players and spectators to wear masks when not playing.

  • KI will refrain from using our traditional inflatable soccer activities for kids.

  • Limiting the interaction around the KI HQ, as well as around our sampling tent, and during awards ceremony. Scoreboards will be available on site, however, only one person at a time may view a particular scoreboard. All scores will be posted online and can be viewed at: www.kickitsoccer.com or on Tourney Machine.

  • Increase our staff visibility on and around the fields to assure spectators are adhering to social distancing .

  • Discouraging hand shakes between teams, players, coaches, refs.

  • Teams and their spectators will occupy the same side of a field. Players and coaches will be at the center line, and their parents may sit or stand on either side of their team. Opposing team and parents will be on the opposite side of the field. 

  • Parents May set up pop up tents. Please limit tent occupants to immediate family only. For groups consisting of multiple teams/families, please ensure your tents are spaced a minimum of 10 yards apart.

  • Team awards picture area will be limited to one team and coach at a time. Kick It staff will take a team picture which will be posted on our Facebook page after the event. Spectators may not be in the awards area.  

  • Players must have their temperature taken before leaving the house 

  • Players should have no signs or symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days and have not been exposed to someone that has been ill in 14 days.

  • Upon arrival, coaches or staff should ask each athlete if they are experiencing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19. If the athlete has any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 they should be sent home and instructed to contact their healthcare provider.  

  • Each participant will be required to have their own water bottle, towel, and personal hygiene products (hand sanitizer, facial tissues, face coverings). 

  • Participants, organizers, spectators, volunteers and facility employees in high risk categories should not participate or attend organized sport activities.  

  • All spectators must adhere to CDC and Douglas County assemblage and distance guidelines. 

  • Players are NOT required to wear face coverings during soccer activities, however, Coaches and spectators are recommended to wear face coverings by Douglas County guidelines (currently whenever within 6 feet of others not within your "group or team"a face covering should/could be worn).  

  • Tissues, wipes, or disposable gloves must be properly disposed in the appropriate receptacles.

Who Can Play?: This tournament is open to all players ages 5-Adult!

Standard Pricing: $208 per team (Minimum 3 players, Maximum 6 players)

Game Times: Games will begin at approximately 8:00 a.m. and conclude around 6:00 p.m on Saturday,

 

Format: Pool Play and Playoffs in Most Divisions

  • Two 12 minute half games

  • Most teams play 4-7 games

  • One ref per field

  • No goalies

  • Create your own fun team name

Team Check In: Teams will check in on site approximately 30 minutes before their first match.

 

Parking: Ample free parking

Team Level/Classification Guidelines:

  • Register your team in the birth year of the oldest player on the team, no exceptions.

  • Girls may play on Boys Teams, However, Boys may not play on Girls teams. Girls Teams may enter Boys divisions, However, Boys teams May NOT enter Girls divisions.

  • 15-18 Year olds will register as High School, 19 and older are to be classified as Adult Teams unless individual age groups are offered.

  • Awards for each player on the top 3 teams in each division

Special Schedule Requests:​

Most events are able to accommodate ]schedule requests such as a league game, travel time, or player availability (For example: Team has a 9:00 a.m. club match and cannot play until Noon, Your schedule may be 12, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5). Please contact your Event Director with questions regarding your circumstances. We try to accommodate all coaching and schedule requests up to 2 teams, but we cannot guarantee this especially in playoff rounds. Please bring coaching help if you have more than one team. Coaching conflicts that cannot be resolved are not a valid reason for withdrawal from the event and there will be no refunds for this reason. Conflicts AFTER schedules have been created will NOT be honored.

The highest 3v3 tournament in the country!  All games are played at an elevation of 8,000 feet or above. Nestled in Colorado’s Vail Valley, Ford Park and Vail Athletic Fields host the Kick It 3v3 World Championships.  From great dining and recreation to beautiful rocky mountain views this event brings in over 150 teams to compete.  For over 19 years Kick It and the Town of Vail have teamed up to bring you one of the best soccer tournaments on the planet.

 

Vail, Colorado, is a small town at the base of Vail Mountain, home of the massive Vail Ski Resort. Set within White River National Forest, the town is a gateway for winter sports like skiing and snowboarding. It’s also a summertime destination for golfing, hiking and cultural festivals. Gore Creek, popular for fly fishing, runs directly through the town center.
